G's older brother Grant and his bride Jaime got married on Saturday, July 3 in a beautiful countryside wedding that was simple and intimate... just like the couple intended. Jaime's mother owns Windswept Acres and it's been passed down for generations so Jaime felt an emotional attachment to the land. While the couple prepared for their big day, G and I enjoyed the land by pedal-boating in a picturesque setting with horses grazing freely around us and exploring a mountain top. I broke out in an awful rash by the end of the hike (G attributes my sheltered upbringing to my sensitive skin) but we couldn't ask for a more beautiful day.
The wedding was incident-free and we celebrated their union with canoeing on the lake, 80's music, dancing by the bonfire, consuming a ton of food and a carrot cake wedding cake. Well wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Tyler!
